About the style, features:

Modern classics (or “neoclassical”, as this style is also called) combines all the classical styles, but is more suitable for modern realities and the tastes of the 21st century audience.

It is atmospheric, full of interesting details and decor. But less pompous.

For example, the decoration may not be made from natural materials (as in classic interiors), but from artificial ones, but of very good quality.

And have a little less decorative elements. Decorated interior items are combined with items devoid of decor. In this way, balance, equilibrium, and moderation are achieved, which are characteristic of the style and make it so refined and interesting.

Style features:

• The color scheme is predominantly light, delicate, pastel tones.
• Everywhere, as in the classics, symmetry can be traced (for example, paired decorative elements, paired pieces of furniture), there are pronounced centers around which the interior is built, adherence to proportions and strict lines are encouraged
• Furniture is predominantly geometrically correctly shaped, but can be vintage, decorated with beautiful decor
• Products made from natural wood and marble are valued
• Gilding, copper and bronze are used in decoration
• Such decorative elements as columns, pilasters (3D models of columns and pilasters, see the link), cornices with stucco molding, ceiling cornices with decor, wide baseboards, moldings on the walls are appropriate for decoration and decor.
• Oil paintings, the canvases of which can be inserted into carved frames (but not as lush and massive as in Renaissance styles, in this case they can be more laconic, painted in the color of the walls or a contrasting but basic color)
• Large mirrors (often also in wooden frames - see 3D models here)
• Wallpaper, carpets and curtains in the interior, luxurious chandeliers are appropriate

• There can be figurines in a classical style in a neoclassical interior. But it is important not to overload the space. Maintain moderation, conciseness, minimalism.

Modern classics are more suitable for spacious rooms. For country houses or large apartments.

The floor is most often finished with parquet or parquet boards.

At the same time, chairs and sofas in a neoclassical interior may well be modern.
